The Trainer's Edge offers many different options for personal training. You can purchase sets minimum of 6 up to 36 sessions with a personal trainer. The usual is either 6,12 or 24 sessions. Cost varies among our personal trainers and the style of training is also different. Please contact us so we can better help you and set you up with the right trainer to help you reach your goals.
If you are new to having a personal trainer we help withh many different areas when it comes to creating a healthier lifestyle. Having a personal trainer will help you stay focused on what you need to accomplish with Accountability, Nutrition, and of course your Fitness. We help you on how to Exercise, Correct Form, and how to Stretch, so when you are not exercising with us you know how and what to do. HIIT: HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING
Each trainer has their own way of training their clients according to their needs. Trey & Becky really focus on HIIT. HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training has been around for many years. It is also known as interval training, Tabata, Burst, Surge Training. Here at the Trainers Edge, we continue to educate ourselves in ways to help our members and clients to achieve the health status, keep up their healthy lifestyle, and help them get over plateaus if one exists. HIIT is shown to help with weight loss, increase metabolism, shift hormone levels, stimulate the anti-aging hormone, HGH- human growth hormone, it also turns on genes that promote the growth of new blood vessels, make blood vessels more flexible, intensify the body’s defenses against harmful antioxidants, and ease low-level inflammation.
Here are some basics when engaging in HIIT:
- High intensity interval training should last long enough and be strenuous enough that you are out of breath- 90% of your maximum heart rate.
- Rest periods should be long enough to catch your breath but not too long where your heart rate slows to its resting rate.
- ALWAYS WARM UP FIRST
- Do not do high intensity interval training on consecutive days. Rest between training allowing your body to recuperate.

I contacted Trey about personal training sessions for my fiancée, Dennis, who recently started working from home and wanted to be educated on how to work out (technique, equipment, routine, etc).
